    When: Thursday 17 September, 10:00pm – 11:00pm NZT

What: Firmware updates on our core routers, carried out on the advice of our hardware vendors

Expected impact: Short outages of approximately 5–10 minutes

To be clear on scope: this work affects connectivity to your hosted cloud servers. Your internet connection, on-premise equipment and any other services such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace are not impacted by this window.

The update itself is brief, but we have reserved the full hour so our network team can complete thorough testing and confirm everything is operating as expected before we close the window.

During this period you may experience intermittent access to your cloud servers. We recommend avoiding use of them between 10:00pm and 11:00pm.

No data loss is expected as a result of this work. As a precaution, we ask that you do not run file transfers or copy data to or from your cloud servers during the window, as sessions may be interrupted mid-transfer.

You can follow live progress and see when the window is closed at https://status.cloudtorque.global

We appreciate that this is short notice. The vendor advisory relates to the stability and security of the platform, so we have scheduled the work at the earliest low-traffic window available to us.

If you have any questions or a business-critical process running in this window, please contact our team on support@cloudtorque.global and our team will look into any issues promptly.
